I don’t have any red flags and I know I’m late here, but I wanna say. One exception to the rule of “the way a man treats the women in the family is how they treat all women” is one that I do see in my brother. We treat each other like there is almost no difference in gender between us. Granted, we both have autism and ADHD, and his behavior does change depending on how close he is to the woman in question. Usually it’s a matter of “I have a little more freedom to be my chaotic self around you” type of thing.

I have one of these kind of hubbys too. I secretely love it ,just dont tell him. (We are gamers so he does more game related things, Like logging into my wow and pulling out the plant vs zombies pet that sings so I have to hear it when I log in later or covering my minecraft house in endermen heads that track your movement.)

I am pretty sure, that when someone loves and feeds cats and their own pets don’t mind company that might take loving advantage of their spaces, it gets told and retold on the cat vine. So, every cat that can make it to that house, is assured a kind and loving human or two, a good meal and a place to feel safe. This way, if they ever need food, love, a comfy bed ot protecting, they know where to go. You don’t have to own them, they will share their kitty regalness and love with you, because you care about them, and that, is something and someone, cats will always need and want. Their secret. I stopped to pet this black tomcat, when I stopped to pick up the box and continue to the apt., cat followed me into it. Turned out it WAS his home. An elderly lady lived there before us and he was her pet. When she died, her family left the cat behind. So he just was ruling the surrounding area until we moved in and just moved back into his apt. with new tenants.

Got a stay that wanders through our yard and her kittens hang out in the yard. After her (at least 3rd...that we know of) litter is old enough, would love to turn this 'not my outside cat' into my indoor cat. Attempts to feed her and the little ones does far more for the racoons than it does the felines....
